The Nine Grahas Worshipped During the Puja

During Navagraha Puja, all nine planetary deities are honoured one by one using traditional Vedic procedures:

• ☀️ Surya (Sun) – vitality, leadership, confidence, and positive energy.
• 🌙 Chandra (Moon) – emotional steadiness, peace of mind, and compassion.
• 🔥 Mangal (Mars) – courage, determination, and strength.
• 🌿 Budh (Mercury) – wisdom, intelligence, communication, and learning.
• 📿 Guru (Jupiter) – knowledge, prosperity, spirituality, and divine guidance.
• 💎 Shukra (Venus) – love, harmony, beauty, and abundance.
• ⚖️ Shani (Saturn) – discipline, patience, responsibility, and perseverance.
• 🌪️ Rahu – transformation, ambition, and life’s sudden, unexpected chances.
• 🕉️ Ketu – spiritual awakening, wisdom, and liberation.

Together these divine energies are worshipped with full devotion through authentic Vedic rituals, without skipping the feel.

How the Navagraha Puja is Performed

The ceremony starts with cleansing and purification of the worship area, then comes Sankalp where the devotee shares prayer and intention before the Divine. Lord Ganesha is worshipped first, so blessings come for the smooth completion of the ritual. After that, the Kalash is placed as a symbol of divine presence, in a proper way.

Then the experienced pandit invokes each of the nine Grahas through Vedic mantras, and performs Abhishek with Panchamrit and sacred water. Flowers, incense, lamps, fruits, sweets, and other traditional offerings are presented respectfully, while continuous mantra chanting keeps the atmosphere spiritually alive. The puja ends with Aarti, prayers for universal well-being, and then blessed Prasad distribution, for everyone.
